Consulting and Design
Our Project Consultant will design the layout
of your network cabling and fiber optics in your new office and
buildings and determine the optimal placement of central locations
for equipment racks and enclosures, a crucial consideration when
installing cabling in large structures. Expandability, maintenance,
and cost considerations are addressed throughout the design process.
Installation
We offer a full range of installation services for existing and emerging voice, data and
fiber optic network cabling, including equipment rack and enclosure systems, cable runway systems,
business telephone systems and clean room installations. All structural supports and enclosures
are properly secured for earthquake safety.
Testing
Field Testing of cable and fiber optics installations
is completed using industry-standard Microtest diagnostic technology.
An automated process is used to verify that all test results meet
established EIA and TIA standards. Printouts of test results are
supplied for customer records and review. Copies of the results
are also available on CD-ROM by request.
Manufacturing
We can custom-build equipment cables and harnesses
for your special copper and fiber optic communication needs. Breakout cables can be designed
and custom-fit for many types of data and phone systems to suit your particular application.
Troubleshooting and Repair
An experienced and knowledgeable FCM,
Inc. project team will diagnose improperly
installed cable systems by applying tone, test and wiremap cable testing
procedures using Microtest's superior OMNIScanner technology. We can
reterminate existing cabling to new racks or wall-mount panels throughout
your offices and buildings as needed. Our repairs are thoroughly tested
and documented for your total satisfaction.
